The project is an allusion to the work of William Blake and the mythical kingdom of the Subconscious. In Blake’s mythology, this is a large area of the Subconscious, a source of poetic inspiration and dreams. Beula is a place where love and hate, tenderness and cruelty, shyness and lust coexist, the birthplace of creativity.
In Blake’s mythology, this is a large area of the Subconscious, a source of poetic inspiration and dreams. This is the country or time when the «one» is restored from the scattered parts; a state of harmony of the inner ideal with the outside world. In Beule, «opposites converge», love and hate coexist without conflict, as well as tenderness and cruelty, shyness and lust, purity and dirt.
Beula – according to Blake, one of the four spiritual states through which the universe passes. Blake places Beula between Eternity and Ulrich (this material world). Beula in this context – a place of rest from the active life of Paradise, or ghostly world Paradise. Beula is a place in the night, illuminated by the «Moon of Love», where there are hills and valleys, streams and rivers, caves of sleep. It is a land of flowers and pleasures of the flesh. Beula’s dominant emotion is mercy and love.
